Ambit is a family oriented board game that is challenging as well as fun. It may be played with 2 to 6 players either individually or in teams. It is similar in style to Aggravation or Trouble in that players are moving pawns around a shared track in order to reach a certain point. In contrast, it is played with both dice and cards. On each turn, a player must decide on whether to roll the dice, play a card in his hand or pick a card. The object of Ambit is to be the first player or team to get all of his pawns to his home spaces via his decision making strategies while avoiding being sent back to his starting spaces. There is also a certain element of luck involved.
